Now that Instagram now as it's own version of YouTube which features vertical videos up to 10 minutes for regular folks like myself(really Instagram) and up to an hour for larger account holders, I'm sure you are like myself who couldn't wait to dive in and see what it is all about, unfortunately for me I have been having trouble uploading from the app whether it is the Instagram App or IGTV app when my upload reaches 51% the app crashes every time so for me to be able to upload videos right now until they fix the bug I have to use my desktop to upload my videos which works quite smoothly which saves me the frustration of having to curse at my phone 🤣. Here I have outlined how I go about uploading videos to IGTV from my desktop, hope this helps.

• Go to Instagram login page and log into your account

• Upon logging in you will be taken to your feed just like in the app from here look for the human icon in the top left right-hand corner and click on it see below.

•  Now click on IGTV

• Then click on upload

• Now you can either click on the plus sign or drag and drop to add your video.

• If you use the plus sign you will see a window appear just like below you can then click on the video you wish to upload to select it then click open to upload or double click to upload.

• You can edit your cover image for your video here by choosing either a shot from within your image or a cover you created specifically for it.

• Here I chose a cover that I made specifically for this video using Canva design size 735px ✕ 1102px

• When your video has reached 100% click post to finish up.

• You will be taken to this page where it says preparing video just wait until it's done.

• And fireworks you are done your video is ready for your followers to see.
